The fabric is made of natural plant fibers of the jute type. It serves as the lining of flower pots for aquatic plants .
It prevents the washing out of the substrate from between the root ball, and thus also counteracts the turbidity of the water.
It protects plants from being bitten by fish , and also facilitates replanting.
